A true Amsterdam institution since 1997, Lellebel is a cozy and characterful bar with deep roots in the city’s drag and transgender community. Founded as a multicultural trans bar, it has grown into a beloved safe haven for a diverse mix of LGBTQIAA+ guests and allies from around the world. With its charming, slightly theatrical interior and warm, welcoming vibe, Lellebel offers more than just drinks. Expect an intimate lineup of entertainment including drag shows, live music, comedy, open mic nights, and a popular Sunday karaoke. Now run by a trans and queer womyn-led team, the venue continues its legacy as a space built by and for the community.
